BOTOX® Cosmetic #43723

This is a BOTOX® Cosmetic case for a patient in her late twenties. The before photo shows several horizontal lines running across the full width of the forehead, visible even at rest. BOTOX® Cosmetic was injected into the frontalis muscle to reduce the activity driving those lines. In the after photo, the forehead surface is noticeably smoother, with only faint traces of the lines remaining at rest. The treatment addressed the forehead as the target zone; no other areas are shown in these photos. BOTOX® Cosmetic works by temporarily limiting muscle contraction, so results are not permanent, and repeat treatments are typically needed to maintain what you see here. Results vary from patient to patient.
