CoolSculpting®

Non-Surgical Fat Treatment

When you make an effort to live a healthy lifestyle and take care of your body, you know just how frustrating stubborn pockets of fat can be. Localized fat deposits are often resistant to diet and exercise, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have the body you want.

You deserve a proportionate and contoured figure, and CoolSculpting can give you that body in as little as an hour per treatment. CoolSculpting is a non-surgical, FDA-approved fat reduction treatment designed to remove bulges of fat for good.

How Does CoolSculpting Work?

CoolSculpting uses a highly researched method called cryolipolysis, developed by Harvard scientists, to freeze away your fat cells. This method of fat reduction targets fat cells under the skin without affecting your skin or other tissues. CoolSculpting has been FDA-approved to treat pockets of fat in the following areas:

CoolSculpting can remove up to 25 percent of the fat cells in a treated area after just one session. At least two sessions are needed per area to achieve effective results.  Multiple areas of the body can be treated in one session.

A CoolSculpting session may take as little as one hour and could be easily scheduled during your lunch break. Dr. Diwan can advise you on developing a treatment plan to optimize your results.

“Dr. Diwan does an amazing job. She is a very caring and highly skilled dermatologist. I strongly recommend The Laser Skin & Surgery Center!”

CoolSculpting Benefits

CoolSculpting Before & After

CoolSculpting is an office treatment that safely and effectively sculpts your problem areas. The cold sensation associated with CoolSculpting will subside after a few minutes, and you can read, check work emails or even nap while your treatment is performed.

Since CoolSculpting doesn’t require surgery, recovery is simple.  Mild swelling, discomfort, redness or bruising in treated areas immediately following your appointment is common. However, these symptoms should subside within a few days and do not keep you from returning to work or your daily routine immediately after treatment.

You should begin to notice your CoolSculpting results in three weeks. More dramatic results can be seen within two months. As fat cell removal is completed, you may continue to notice continued improvement in your appearance for four to six months.

Our patients love CoolSculpting because it contours their bodies and:

The ease and convenience of CoolSculpting have made it the world’s No.1 non-invasive fat reduction technique.

Liposuction may be more suitable for patients who want only a single treatment only. For some patients, a combination of liposuction for some areas and Coolsculpting for other areas may be optimal. During your consultation, Dr. Diwan will help you determine which option is best to achieve your goals.

Am I a Candidate for CoolSculpting?

Surgical fat reduction methods, such as liposuction, are not recommended for patients with heart problems or patients who are on blood thinners, but CoolSculpting is safe for nearly everyone. You are likely a good candidate for CoolSculpting if:

CoolSculpting should not be performed if you’re pregnant or have health-related issues when exposed to cold temperatures. Since CoolSculpting is a fat reduction rather than weight loss method, it is not considered a treatment for obesity.

CoolSculpting is the perfect complement to your diet and exercise routine and can help you look better from every angle.
