More and more, men and women are choosing non-surgical facial rejuvenation over traditional, surgical methods at Dr. Diwan’s Westlake practice. According to a new report, it is a trend that is sure to continue in the coming year. Using data collected throughout the last year, WhatClinic.com, a private healthcare search engine, predicts that non-surgical mini-facelifts will continue to gain popularity in 2017. WhatClinic saw enquiries for the treatment increase by an astounding 91 percent in the last three months of 2016.

Using a combination of non-invasive treatments, Dr. Diwan is able to target both superficial and deeper signs of aging.

Wrinkles and Fine Lines

According to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the ever-popular Botox® was performed nearly 1.8 million times in 2016. Botox can effectively smooth fine lines and wrinkles between the eyebrows, forehead creases, crow’s feet around the eyes, and other wrinkles in the upper face region. Fractionated laser resurfacing can help alleviate wrinkles as well.

Replenish Volume Loss

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, including Juvéderm® and Restylane®, address age-related volume loss in the skin by filling depressions and restoring the fullness of depleted areas. More robust fillers, including Juvéderm Voluma® and Restylane Lyft®, add structure and are even able to give actual lift to the mid-face, cheeks, temples and chin, and reverse a sagging and tired look.

Skin Tightening

Radiofrequency energy treatments, like Apollo Radiofrequency, tighten sagging skin without surgery and with no recovery time.  A favorite of Dr. Diwan, she commonly uses this treatment to treat loose and sagging skin around the forehead, under the eyes, cheeks, mid-face, jaw line, and neck.

Aesthetic Skincare

Enhance your non-surgical mini-facelift with a glowing complexion! Correction of fine crepey wrinkles, veins, uneven skin tone, and pigmentation including age spots, can be achieved with the right combination of in-office and at-home aesthetic treatments, including chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments and professional grade skincare (like Obagi® Medical Skin Care).

During your personal consultation with Dr. Diwan, she will use her expertise to determine and recommend which non-surgical procedures will best suit you in achieving your goals!
