Restyle, Restylane Silk and Restylane Lyft are non-animal derived, FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler products. Hyaluronic acid is one of the natural components of skin.
Dr. Diwan carefully injects Restylane into the skin to fill out surface depressions such as wrinkles and depressed acne scars. Restylane can significantly improve skin creases on the forehead, between the eyebrows, or on the upper and lower lips; it can reduce smile lines and marionette lines (extending down from the corners of the mouth), as well as the creases across the neck and creases on the ear lobes. Restylane is also FDA-approved for restoring the fullness of the lips.
Restylane Silk is the filler of choice for very fine lines on the lips or eyelids; or for creases in the thin skin of the neck.
Restylane Lyft is similar to Restylane, but is more robust and more suitable for deeper grooves on the face or for restoring fullness to the face in hollow areas or areas of larger volume loss.

A useful feature of Restylane, Restylane Silk and Restylane Lyft is that there is no need for allergy testing before having treatment, because they are not animal-derived products. Some redness–easily camouflaged by makeup–occurs in the treated areas and may last for a few days. Otherwise, there is no downtime following your treatment.
An important advantage of these two fillers is that the improvement obtained with Restylane and Restylane Lyft is immediate and expected to last 6 to 12 months (*). As you notice the results of your treatment beginning to fade, you may choose to return for touch-up treatments to maintain a youthful appearance.
